The current Government strongly supports the Romanian industry, said the minister of Economy Costin Borc, on Tuesday, at Ramnicu Valcea, where French Faurecia has opened a new plant.
“I want to ensure you that the Government that I am part of makes all the efforts so that the employees of this factory have a future in the country. I see that they are very young and I want them to grow within this group, to have a future, in the professions they choose, to decide to live, to work and make families in Romania (…) The fact that Faurecia is in Romania for 13 years means that the consecutive governments and local authorities fulfilled the duty of creating a proper business environment in which foreign investors can develop, together with the local suppliers, with the research centers and other industries that Faurecia collaborates with,” said Borc.
He also welcomed the opening of the car components factory from Ramnicu Valcea, saying that the chosen area is in development, taking into account that in the near future a highway will link Western Romania to Europe.
“The Government that I am part of strongly supports the Romanian industry and there are several examples, this being the sixth factory opening from auto domain that I attend since I am minister and I’m glad that workplaces of quality are being created, around some global producers who offer good work and life conditions, ” added Borc.
