Telecom operator UPC Romania, owned by Liberty Global, has leased a fleet of 170 new vehicles comprising Ford and BMW cars.

The vehicles were acquired by OTP Leasing Romania and are managed by Business Lease Romania.

The acquisitions process was a global procurement agreement concluded between Liberty Global and the car manufacturers.

“Since more than five years ago, Business Lease manages the own car fleet of UPC. Our relationship is based on trust, expertise and mutual respect. When UPC wanted to replace a significant part of the fleet with brand new cars, we were asked to provide an all-in solution,” said Philip Aarsman, managing director of Business Lease Romania.

UPC Romania provides TV, broad band internet and telephone services in approximately 300 Romanian cities, where it services over 1.2 million clients.

Business Lease Group is headquartered in Netherlands and is a division of the AutoBinck Group, which has operations in eight European countries.

OTP Leasing is a subsidiary of OTP Bank Romania.
