Nuclearica director general Daniela Lulache has term extended by 4 months

Nuclearica director general Daniela Lulache had her term extended at the helm of the company by 4 months after a decision by the Administration Board.

The decision to extend the mandate starring 1 May 2017 was unanimous. The current mandate was due to expire on 30 April 2017.

According to Nuclearelectrica representatives, the decision to extend the term was motivated by the intention of the Ministry of Energy to accelerate the negotiation process regarding the Units 3 and 4 of Cernavoda. The SNN Director General is a member of the Commission that negotiated the project and knows the process very well as well as its particularities. The strategy, started in 2014, ensures the continuity in this process.

The ecision was adopted to facilitate the transition period and to transfer the complexity of the processes and of the nuclear activities from the current leadership towards the new one.
