Swedish fashion retailer H&M has opened its 14th store on the Romanian market this Thursday in Braila. The outlet is located on the grounds of the Promenada Mall shopping center and covers 1,830 sqm.
H&M has announced it will continue its expansion inRomania. ”H&M`s expansion in Romania continues. We want to go with the momentum and give the possibility to shop at H&M to as many Romanians as possible, so in April and May we are going to open new stores in Iasi, Craiova, Braila and Suceava.”, said Carlos Duarte, country manager H&M Romania, at the beginning of April.
H&M runs 14 stores inRomania, six of which are in Bucharest. The first local H&M store was opened last year in March in AFI Palace Cotroceni.
The Swedish retailer reported sales worth EUR 37.3 million (VAT included) between March and November last year from its local stores. H&M is the second largest fashion retailer in the world running about 2,500 stores.
