Mega Image opens 9 stores this month

Mega Image will open tomorrow a new Shop & Go store on Calea Vacaresti. This is the 23^rd new outlet opened by the Belgian retailer since the beginning of this year. At present the company operates a network of 128 stores – 19 Shop&Go proximity stores and 109 Mega Image supermarkets.

In addition to this, Mega Image plans to open another 8 stores this month. By comparison, Mega the retailer opened 33 new stores in 2011 and 21 the previous year.

In 2010 the Belgian retailer reported a turnover of EUR 210 million, up 45 percent y-o-y.
