Metro Cash & Carry and Google sign co-marketing partnership

Metro Cash & Carry will be able to offer its clients Google AdWords coupons after signing a co-marketing partnership with Google Romania, the retailer has announced.

The coupons will be offered to clients who register online at Metro Office Direct and can be used only for newly created AdWords accounts. Google AdWords is an online advertising solution on Google and its ad partners. The AdWords promotions are displayed along with search results on Google, as well as on search and content sites in the Google Network.

Metro Cash & Carry launched the Metro Office Direct online store this January.

“The coupons are a useful advertising instrument for our professional clients that will enable them to increase their online visibility and thus support their business development,” said Metro Cash & Carry representatives.

“One of Google’s main priorities in Romania is to bring more businesses online and helping them to become successful by using advertising solutions like Google AdWords. Metro has an important client portfolio consisting of small and medium enterprises with a clear interest in taking advantage of their online presence – this makes the partnership a significant one for us,” said Rares Rusu, marketing manager of Google Romania.

Metro Cash & Carry has been present in Romania since 1996. It has a network of 32 stores in 24 cities.
