Christian Tour posts EUR 55 mln in vacation sales for first nine months

Local travel agency specialized in charter offers announced it had sales of EUR 55 million during the first nine months of the year, a 15 percent increase year on year.

“We are already very close to the turnover we estimated for 2015, of EUR 60 million. To the 180,000 tourists who have traveled with us until September will be added the ones of the winter season,” said Marius Pandel, CEO Christian Tour, adding that 90 percent of their charter offers have already been sold.

The agency has added 10 new coaches to its fleet this year and started a catering service aboard its charters.

Christian Tour, a local travel agency, together with all companies in the group, recorded in 2014 a turnover of EUR 62 million. Active for 18 years in the domestic tourism market, Christian Tour currently has 32 agencies across Romania, plus a subsidiary in Chisinau and about 200 employees.
