Corporate Office Solutions, a company active in the office furnishing market, announced a turnover of EUR 9.12 million for the first half of 2015.

The company projects a turnover of EUR 18 million until the end of the year, an increase of 12.5 percent over 2014.

“The market was very dynamic in the past 12 months and offered more business opportunities. Romania has attracted new investors, particularly in the business process outsourcing industry and other companies have been rapidly increasing. Romania is perceived for pertinent reasons, as a safe place to develop your business, due to its highly-skilled workforce with technical qualifications and extraordinary language skills. In this context, companies meet their goals, and budgets.

We are optimistic about the target of EUR 18 million Euro for 2015, but we aim to reach the threshold of EUR 20 million. It is an achievable target, there is potential in the market,” said Christophe Weller, Corporate Office Solutions managing partner.

The most active companies investing in new furniture and interior design are active mainly in areas such as business process outsourcing (BPO), IT and software development, professional services and telecommunications.

“Bucharest remains the most dynamic city in the country in terms of facilities market, benefiting from the construction of a significant number of office buildings. In Cluj, due to new business centres inaugurated in recent years, such as The Office, Liberty Business Center or the new Julius Centre, activity was more intense than ever. A second wave is expected late this year and early next year, with additional deliveries of class A buildings.

Timisoara was quieter in terms of real estate, but we expect Iasi to have an active role in the development of projects and the demand for office furniture to increase substantially due to the availability of new buildings and the expansion of large companies in the area,” said Weller.

Corporate Office Solutions specializes in turnkey integrated solutions for arranging office space in Romania. It has 18 years’ experience on the market and over 1,300 clients.

The company was launched in 1997 as the only authorized distributor of Steelcase Group, a global leader in office furniture. In 2009, it became the authorized distributor of Interface, the world leader in sustainable manufacture of modular carpet.
