Five Romanian designers show their work at Berlin Fashion Week

As fashion lovers know, twice a year Berlin becomes an international location for fashion and lifestyle topics. Between January 15-20, Romanian designers Andra Cliţan, Adelina Ivan, Stephan Pelger, Irina Schrotter and Lucian Broscăţean will show their latest creations at an the event titled “Romanian Designers” at Berlin Fashion Week.  

This is the fifth time Romanian designers take part in the Berlin Fashion Week (BFW). Romania will present the “Sola Scriptura” collection signed by Andra Cliţan, the “Trust Yourself” collection of Adelina Ivan, Stephan Pelger’s show “Femme Fatale”, while Irina Schrotter and and Lucian Broscăţean will stage the “Immersed Self” collection.

Romanian designer Andra Cliţan proposes a collection with cultural influences, combining elements of the Romanian traditional costume with modern designs, reinterpreting also the funeral rituals and their symbolism, in the “Sola Scriptura” show.

For the second time at BFW, Adelina Ivan presents minimalist, architectural creations, as the German press characterized her latest collection “Trust Yourself.”

Stephan Pelger is a well-know designer at the Berlin Fashion Week, at his fifth participation at the fashion event. Pelger, together with Simone Anes, stages “Femme Fatale”.

Romanian Irina Schrotter collaborates for this edition of BFW with Lucian Broscăţean, presenting “Immersed Self”, a collection inspired from Ingmar Bergman’s  “Persona” movie.
