iQuest reports EUR 27 mln in turnover in 2014

iQuest, company specialized in customized software solutions and services development, ended 2014 with EUR 26.8 million in turnover, a 7 percent increase against the previous year, and 15 new clients in the portfolio.

According to a release, the customer segment with the highest growth in turnover, of 69 percent, was Technology, followed by Life Sciences with an 18 percent increase and Telecom with 14 percent. The iQuest team currently has over 600 people. The company aims to increase the number of specialists by yearend and will move its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca in an office building with an area of 6,000 sqm, located in the city center.

Last year meant for iQuest entering new markets in Eastern Europe – Poland, Ukraine, Russia, and this drew the opening of a new office in Warsaw, which to support the company’s expansion strategy. Also, for this year, the business expansion plans include discussions with potential customers in Asia.

In 2014, iQuest continued to increase investments in its own product and solution development or in its partners’ platforms. Also for supporting its position in certain industries and fields, the company invested massively in specializing its employees and in developing new skills in order to maintain a competitive advantage on the market. Last year, the iQuest portfolio increased by 15 new clients, most of them from Technology or Telecom.

According to iQuest, the most popular IT solutions locally in 2014 were cloud, mobile and e-commerce, while globally the most popular solutions were Big Data and Analytics, Internet of Things / Machine-to-Machine, cloud and e-commerce.

iQuest currently has over 600 employees across the country, the largest team being the one in Cluj-Napoca, which numbers around 380 people.
