Luxoft rents additional space in Novo Park

IT services company Luxoft has leased an additional floor in the 75,000 sqm Novo Park office complex in northern Bucharest, announced today Genesis Development, the office project’s developer and owner. The expansion was possible because another tenant relocated after their lease contract expired, said the developer’s representatives.

“I have noticed a trend of expansion in what companies are concerned. This trend is visible both at Novo Park and at West Gate, the office park that we have developed in the West of Bucharest. In the last two years, tenants of Novo Park and West Gate have expanded their existing surfaces with approximately 20,000 sqm,” said Liviu Tudor, the president of resident of Genesis Development.

Luxoft is one of the largest tenants in Novo Park alongside HP and Garanti Bank, which also have extended their lease contracts and UniCredit which expanded its leased area. The IT company’s local branch has close to 1,000 employees which makes it the third largest delivery center for Luxoft by headcount.

The Novo Park office complex comprises seven buildings with a total leasable area of around 75,000 sqm. Tudor also owns the West Gate office park in western Bucharest (75,000 sqm GLA) and the West Gate Studios private campus.
