Romanian gymnast Larisa Iordache won two silver medals at the Nanning World Gymnastic Championship. Iordache brought the first medal in seven years for Romania at an all-around women’s gymnastics final. The Romanian shared the all-around podium with two US gymnasts, Simone Biles who got the gold, and Kyla Ross, winner of the bronze medal.

On Sunday, October 12, she also competed in the floor final where she finished second, bringing Romania the second silver medal.

Larisa also competed in the balance beam final on Sunday but she finished 5th.

Romania’s women’s gymnastics team finished fourth, while the men’s team ranked 19th in the qualifications stage and failed to qualify for the finals.
