Our patrimony – pièces de résistance: Over 30,000 historical monuments nationwide expect better times, some need a little nip/tuck, some just better touristic promotion.  New laws and lots of promises from national and local authorities are made, but the investment is insufficient to preserve the true value of these landmarks.
