Aeroporturi Bucuresti’s revenues up by 8 pct in 2017 close to EUR 1 bln, profit up by 45 pct

The National Company Aeroporturi Bucuresti, that administrates Henri Coanda and Aurel Vlaicu airports in Bucharest, posted an overall revenue of RON 1.08 billion in 2017, an year-on-year increase by 8.3 percent due to the passengers air traffic and the airports’ activity efficiency, while the gross profit increased by 45 percent to RON 389.7 million, according to the company.

Starting from the second semester of the year, the company focused on the passengers’ flows cut back at arrivals and departures, the optimization of passengers and hand luggage’ security control, as well as on the expansion of auto flow to two bands for airport exit.

At the same time, Aeroporturi Bucuresti made maintenance and reconstruction works on the road structure of the lifting/landing tarmac no.1 and on the aircrafts’ rolling lines on Henri Coanda airport, that covered a surface of over 67,000 sqm.

The National Company Aeroporturi Bucuresti operates on the market since February 2010.
