Greek lender Alpha Bank registered on the local market a gross profit of EUR 6.3 million in the first six months of the year, as a result of the increase in the operational revenues and the decrease in the previsions level, according to the data published by the mother-group from Athens.
The operational revenues reached EUR 75.9 million, an increase of 24 percentage compared with the January-June interval this year. The operational expenses amounted to EUR 46.2 million in this period, an increase by 4 percent.
At the end of June the gross credits stock of Alpha reached EUR 2.8 billion, while the deposits reached EUR 1.6 billion.
The bank has a market share of around 4 percent and 1,842 employees in Romania.
