Atos opens new cyber-security expertise center in Timisoara

IT services provider Atos announced the opening of a new cyber-security expertise center in Timisoara, in line with expanding its local and global presence in order to answer growing customer demand.

The opening of the new center in Timisoara will support the fast development of the company’s global customer base. The new center already offers security and detection services for over 20 customers, offering them assistance in the digital transformation process.

“We are enthusiastic with the opening of the new cyber-security operations center in Timisoara. (…) We are also dedicated to expanding our labor force in the region, because we will need a large team of experts in the close future,” said Catalina Dodu, country manager Atos Romania.

Atos opened over 15 cyber-security expertise centers globally, constantly monitoring security events in real time, detecting attacks and answering rapidly to neutralize the incidents.

Last year, the company reported a turnover exceeding EUR 25 million in Romania. In Central and Eastern Europe, its operations surpassed EUR 380 million.
