Back payments for loans in RON down by 2.3 pct in October, back payments in foreign currency up by 0.1 pct

The back payments for loans in RON went down by 2.3 percent in October, compared with September, while the back payments for loans in foreign currency increased by 0.1 percent, the overall value amounting to RON 5.513 billion, according to a report of the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

The overall loans in RON reached RON 143.93 billion in October (by 0.6 percent more than the previous month), out of which RON 61.76 billion were amounts contracted by economic agents and RON 78.29 billion loans contracted by individuals.

The loans in foreign currency amounted to RON 92.4 billion  in October, out of which RON 54.99 billion contracted by economic agents and RON 42.28 billion loans contracted by individuals.

Bucharest citizens had back payments for loans in RON worth RON 1.721 billion and in foreign currency worth RON 2.8 billion.
