BADSI, the Nissan dealer, announces that it has returned to profitability and estimates a sales growth of 40 percent this year compared with 2015, more than three years after voluntarily filing for insolvency and pursuing a reorganization plan.

BADSI representatives said that that the firm aims to invest next year  in systems and equipments that allow BADSI to maximize its efficiency and internal processes.

„Maybe one of the most important decisions, with great benefits over the business evolution, was the concentration of all the operations in Pipera location. We succeeded in renting or selling the locations from the northern Bucharest and we merged all the activities in a single workplace. By far the biggest advantage was the operational efficiency, that we were forced to do because of the tight space where we had to run our activity. The insolvency experience taught us to be more productive, more efficient. We gave up to all the energy consuming activities, we brought a new spirit to the team allowing the employees more responsibility and  freedom of movement, being in direct contact with the client, ” said Paul Badea, CEO of BADSI.

BADSI sold 650 vehicles until the middle of August and reported a loading of 91 percent in its vehicle workshops.

„The main focus for 2016 is ensuring the necessary profit to make the planned investments for 2017, ” added Badea.

BADSI was set up in 1992, offering both cars acquisition and multibranding service. It has an annual turnover of EUR 4 million.
