Consultancy firm BearingPoint Romania posted a 30 percent increase in turnover in 2015 over the previous year, in line with the group performance, according to a company press release.
After opening a third office in Romania, the company aims to continue investing this year, when it plans to open a digital excellence center meant to “encourage innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and creativity,” according to its country leader, Christian Gurny (pictured).
At group level, BearingPoint registered a turnover of EUR 563.3 million, the highest level since its management buy-out in 2009. The group has also acquired Magenta Advisory, headquartered in Helsinki, last year.
“In 2016 we will continue to implement our strategy and to maintain the growth trend that we acquired in the latter part of last year. I expect our new strategy and the investments made in recent years will accelerate our development in 2016 and help us meet our ambitious target to record gross revenues of EUR 1 billion by 2020,” stated BearingPoint managing partner Peter Mockler.
