Bosch registered an increase of almost 50 percent of their net sales during the fiscal year 2015, a financial report of the company shows. Amounting to RON 1.7 billion (EUR 375 million), these numbers include sales from the unconsolidated companies and domestic supplies to affiliated companies.

For 2016 we expect further strong growth in Romania, in all our sectors of activity,” stated Mihai Boldijar, Bosch representative in Romania.

The company’s number of employees in Romania reached approximately 3,200 in 2015, an increase of over 30 percent compared to the previous year. A significant increase is expected during 2016 also, especially for locations in Blaj, Cluj and Timisoara.

Bosch investments in Romania amounted to about RON 178 million (EUR 40 million) in 2015, and the company plans additional investments in the current year, particularly for further development of the production areas for Mobility Solutions.

With all activity sectors contributing to the positive results of 2015, the auto parts and service equipment division made notable efforts, registering a new sales record for Romania.

Bosch ended the fiscal year 2015 with a turnover of RON 1.2 billion (EUR 272 million) in consolidated sales. The complete acquisition of two former joint-ventures with equal stakes, BSH Hausgerate GmbH and Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH, led to a 30 percent in sales for the company.
