While the number of passengers this year should stay the same, revenues will not, said company representatives, without offering further details. BA has cut its economy fares as well and due to the crisis has delayed expansion plans in Romania. A one-way ticket from Bucharest to London will cost EUR 99 for the next two weeks. “In the last five years we have had the biggest market share on this route, Romania being one of the most important markets in Europe, and the sixth in terms of revenues, outranking Poland,” said Emil Delibashev, BA's commercial manager for the Balkans area.
