Bucharest Mayor Gabriela Firea stated on Monday that the Easter lights that the City Hall plans to decorate the centre of the capital with, come with an EUR 176,300 price tag.
According to Firea, “for the first time in the capital, we have an idea that, I believe, will be appreciated by Bucharest inhabitants. We started the spring cleaning in all Bucharest neighbourhoods. Likewise, repairing holes in the road, which appeared after a tough winter, therefore we are taking care – like a housewife, of the house, to be clean, refurbished and embellished,” the Bucharest Mayor said.
Firea also said that the amount will be paid from multi million euros savings made by the Bucharest City Hall, when closing deals with several firms.
