Carrefour opens 43rd supermarket

Carrefour Romania has opened a new supermarket this time in Timisoara, bringing its national network to 43 such outlets. It is also the third supermarket opened in Timisoara. The new unit is located in the Flavia Square and has a total sales area of 560sqm.

Carrefour also runs 25 hypermarkets in Romania.

In addition to hypermarkets and supermarkets, the retailer operates the Carrefour Express proximity store format in partnership with Angst. Three such units have been opened so far in Bucharest.
