Carrefour opens second supermarket from Lugoj, reaches 112 stores of this format in Romania

French retailer Carrefour has opened today the second supermarket from Lugoj, Timis county, reaching 112 stores in this format across Romania.

Market Lugoj will have approximately 5,000 products and the offer includes over 1,000 Carrefour articles, and wide range of dairy products, grocery, bakery and pastry, fruits and vegetables, diet products and non-food products.

The surface of the supermarket is 700 sqm. The schedule of the supermarket is from Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 10 PM and on Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM. There will be 22 workplaces created.

In Romania, Carrefour Group has overall 283 stores, out of which 112 in market format, 43 express stores and 10 ‘Contact’ proximity stores.
