Competition Council analyses the takeover of aviation fuel contracts of Eurospeed by OMV Petrom

The Competition Council analyses the takeover of aviation fuel contracts of Eurospeed by OMV Petrom, according to a release of the Competition Council. The Eurospeed’ contracts were closed with certain airlines and categories of beneficiaries that operate flights on the International airport Iasi.

According to the release, under the previsions of the Competition Law 21/1996, this operation is an economic concentration that exceeds the legal values is under Competition Council’s control.

Moreover the Competition Council is interested in obtaining observations and points of views from other companies regarding manner in which the economic concentration that will be realized affects or can affect the competition on the market.
