After leasing over 130,000 square meters in CTPark Bucharest West and secured the authorizations for the construction of two more buildings with a total surface area of 68,000 sqm, CTP has announced the start of construction works for the second phase of the construction.
„The amount of investment amounted to EUR 25 million and completion is announced for next spring,” said Remon Vos, the general director of CTP.
CTP has taken over the CTPark Bucharest West from Prologis in late 2015. This spring, CTP started the construction of the Park.
The property development will have a 12 m height and 12 m x 24 m modules.
“The buildings will be equipped with protection systems and fire-retardant equipment, according to the latest standards. In addition, the buildings are designed and will be certified according to the standard Breeam, being efficient from the energy point of view. Lighting will be LED with attendance and twilight, and office space includes finishes of the highest quality, “said Florin Stroe, senior project manager and regional manager of CTPark Bucharest West.
With an investment of EUR 250 million in Romania, CTP has a portfolio of industrial grade properties of over 500,000 sqm and is planning the extension up to one million sqm over the next two years.
