Dacia increased production by 2.2 pct in Q1 to 85,365 cars

Romanian carmaker Dacia, controlled by French group Renault, increased its production at the local plant in Mioveni by 2.2 percent in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period of 2017, up to 85,365 vehicles, according to the Association of Automobile Constructors in Romania (ACAROM).

The model with the highest production was Dacia Duster (53,902 units), followed by Dacia Sandero (14,341 units), Dacia Logan (9,304) and Dacia Logan MCV (7,818).

In 2017, Dacia produced 313,883 units in Romania, down 2 percent from 2016.
