The European commissioner for regional policy, Corina Cretu, is visiting Romanian during May 8-9.
‘’I am happy to celebrate Europe Day in Romania since this year it’s the 10-year anniversary of the country’s accession to the European Union. It’s the moment for an analysis and of reflection both for Romania and the EU, which is now part of a wider public debate process about its future in a structure with 27 member states,” said the Romanian commissioner.
In Romania, Cretu will meet with the deputy PM Sevil Shhaideh and will attend a series of conferences and other public events. She will also visit a project that was developed based on EU funds.
