The eMAG Marketplace platform has exceeded 4,000 partner stores this first semester, up by over 74 percent y-o-y and generated RON 350 million sales, according to company data.
The eMAG offer comprises over 2.4 million products from 1,600 categories from a wide range, from household items, to toys, garden products and auto products.
“The eMAG platform ensures the access to over 5,000 clients daily to a wide range of products. We estimate that until the end of the year we’ll reach sales of over RON 800 million. We also continue the accelerated growth program launched in January 2017 and we aim to reach 7,000 sellers until the end of 2017, ” said Florin Filote, director eMAG Marketplace.
Also, the company estimates that the sales from Marketplace platform will reach to 29 percent of the overall eMAG sales.
In 2016, eMAG invested over EUR 2 million in Marketplace platform for hardware acquisition and the facilitation of integration process of partner stores.
In the eMAG Marketplace platform are registered Romanian companies, such as F64, Carturesti, Otter, Optiplaza, Flori de Lux, Mirano Arsis sau Fares CES (Complet Electro Serv).
