Enel has invested RON 1.85 mln in network upgrade in Constanta

Enel Distributie Dobrogea has completed several upgrade works for its low and medium power network in Constanta, following a RON 1.85 million investment.

The utility firm replaced equipments from connection points that ensures the supply with electricity for Mihai Kogalniceanu airport, for the military units in the area, for the Romanian Administration of Air Traffic Service office and for water pump owned by RAJA.

In the southern area of Constanta added new equipments for electricity supply in two strategic points: OIL Terminal and the water pumps from the city. The modernisation works lasted eight months and consisted in the new equipments assembly in transformation places, the Telecontrol system introduction and the remote drill coordination.

The company has also done some network upgrade works in the touristic area of Constanta. All the installations are remotely managed through the intermediary of Telecontrol system.

All these investments are part of a wider upgrade program made by Enel in all its distribution zones.Because of its investments during the time, according to the reports of SAIDI regulation authority, the most important indicator regarding the energy distribution activity dropped for Enel Distributie Dobrogea from 590 minutes in 2010 to 234 minutes/ year per client.
