Erste Private Banking manages over EUR 1 bln in assets in Romania

Erste Private Bankings announced it has exceeded the EUR 1 bln threshold in assets administered in Romania. BCR has attracted EUR 30 million in the past weeks due to market developments. 

According to company representatives, clients chose Erste Private Banking (EPB) due to market developments.

“We are glad to be the first pick of Romanian clients when they think of the stability and responsibility of a partner for private banking. The dynamic of the assets in the past years has sown us that the strategy developed at a local level can be combined with the expertise of the best Private Banking in Central and Easter Europe,” Dana Demetrical, vice-president of Retail and Private Baking BCR said.

Erste Private Banking is a service whose main purpose is to offer investment products. Investment products exceed 70 percent of the total assets in the EPB portfolio.

Erste Private Banking provides the possibility to trade financial instruments listed (shares, certificates with and without leverage, ETFs, bonds and structured notes) as well as OTC trading (government and corporate bonds, structured notes and deposits).

Erste Asset Management manages a capital of approximately RON 7.6 billion in investment funds open to everyone. The society also manages in individual investments portfolios for investors who want a customised management of financial resources by establishing the structure of their portfolio and the investment objectives.
