Europharm Distributie makes EUR 1 mln fleet acquisition of hybrid vehicles

Europharm Distributie (EPH) has announced that it will fully replace its current fleet of vehicles with hybrids for the sales team by the end of this year, as part of a EUR 1 million deal inked with Toyota in Romania.

The acquisition comes after the company was taken over by Interbrands & Distribution SRL. Europharm Distribute will buy Toyotas under the Auris Terra and Yaris brands. The company has already invested EUR 1.5 million to upgrade its freight transport fleet.

Georgi Roussev, general director of EPH, says the company will continue to invest as it plans to increase its coverage in rural and small urban areas.

The pharma distributor Europharm was taken over from GSK, in a deal that was completed last year.
