EY Romania and TechHub Bucharest are launching START-UP Advantage, a partnership through which technology startups will benefit from free consultancy in areas such as financial control and fees, accounting, project management, GDPR and PSD2. Free events and dozens of mentoring hours will take place starting December 2017 at TechHub Bucharest. Entrepreneurs who wish to take advantage of the opportunity can book a meeting on the coworking website, bucharest.techhub.com, at the events section. The first free mentoring sessions will take place on December 14th.

“There is a real need among technology startups to access the financial, accounting, legal or project management expertise at the highest level. These are, in most cases, areas of expertise that startups can access with difficulty. We are convinced that the partnership with EY Romania will be a response to many of the problems that entrepreneurs face, and we are glad that we have been able to attract such a partner for the TechHub Bucharest community” said Daniel Dragomir, CEO and founder of TechHub Bucharest.

EY Romania’s consultants will provide startups with their time and expertise in areas such as financial control and fees, accounting, project management, GDPR and PSD2. More one-to-one mentoring sessions and free events will take place at TechHub Bucharest as of December.

First free mentoring sessions start on December 14 with Horatiu Cocheci, Niclas Butan and Sergiu Sechel.

“When talking about scaling up start-ups, many people are thinking about the financial capital which needs to be attracted. But attracting human capital is equally important and problematic, with Romania ranked third in terms of global talent shortages, according to a study by Manpower last year. We will discuss with entrepreneurs the financial and non-financial factors that motivate employees and the career development as a long-term organizational sustainability element” says Horatiu Cocheci, director of People Advisory Services, EY Romania.

Technology entrepreneurs who want to get in touch with EY Romania specialists can schedule an one-on-one meeting on the coworking website, bucharest.techhub.com, at the events section.

TechHub Bucharest is the coworking space in Bucharest dedicated exclusively to technology entrepreneurs. Located in the center of Bucharest, the space houses over 120 residents and brings together a community of thousands of professionals and entrepreneurs in tech. Annually, TechHub Bucharest hosts over 300 events dedicated to entrepreneurs and technology professionals.

EY is one of the world’s largest professional services firms with 250,000 employees in over 700 offices in 150 countries and a revenue of USD 31.4 billion for the fiscal year ended on June 30.
