First Bucharest Technology Week edition takes place at end-May

Bucharest will have its first Technology Week between May 23 and 29, aligning to other European cities such as London, Berlin or Sofia, in order to mark the impact that technology and the digital have on people’s daily lives.

Bucharest Technology Week will host 30 events open to the public, related business conferences and an interactive technology exhibition.

One of the main topics of the event will be that of the smart house, energetically independent and environment friendly, which can be controlled via mobile applications.

The Bucharest Technology Week events will debate the role of technology in education, culture and art and include the works of several artists reunited in a sculpture, graphics and design exhibition meant to mark the influence of the latest technologies on the development of art.

Bucharest Technology Week will also include four conferences showcasing case studies of ways in which technology can lead to business development. The conferences will take place at Athénée Palace Hilton and will reunite local and international experts for debates meant to accelerate the adoption of new technologies by Romanian companies.

Between May 27th and 29th, the George Enescu Square in Bucharest will host an exhibition where viewers can see hybrid and electrical cars, robots, gadgets and devices, electrical transport solutions, 3D printing solutions, smart homes solutions and many others.
