Six Romanians among eastern Europe’s emerging technology stars

The Financial Times has published the fourth edition of New Europe 100, which lists the game changers in central and eastern Europe (CEE).

The people from 14 countries were selected by Res Publica, the Warsaw-based journal, Google, the state-supported Visegrad Fund promoting integration within central Europe, and the Financial Times. Six of them come from Romania.

Alin Chiriac

Co-founder of Adfaber.org, the NGO promoting computer science education for children.

Sergiu Ardelean

Founder of Artivive, an augmented reality tool for artists.

Florin Talpes

The founder and head of Bitdefender, the Romanian security software maker.

Daniel Dines

Founder and chief executive of UiPath, the provider of robotics process automation software that got USD 30 million in fresh funding from Accel Partners this year.

Ana Maria Udriste

Co-founder of Avocatoo, an online platform for finding lawyers.

Cristiana Bogateanu

Co-founder of Device Hub, an IoT company and Academia Inventeaza, a robotics school for children.
