Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Engie, starts a new energy efficiency project through which will rehabilitate the building HOSPICE House of Hope Brasov, where annually it offers free palliative care for 2,000 adults and children.
The project’s value is over EUR 200,000 financed by Engie Romania.
HOSPICE House of Hope Brasov building is the first unit with free palliative care in Romania.
„By rehabilitating HOSPICE House of Hope center, we try to come with a viable alternative both to the energy price increase issue, as well as to the energy saving education through the efficiency of resources. The project has, equally, a social and healthcare component, the patients benefit from palliative care. It’s already the forth project in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Romania,” says Eric Stab, president general director of Engie Romania.
The building of HOSPICE House of Hope Brasov has a surface of 1,280 sqm and it hasn’t been rehabilitated since its construction in 2002.
The rehabilitation and energy efficiency project will develop during 2018.
