ICAP Romania, in cooperation with Cycle European, both members of ICAP Group, the largest Business Information and Consulting Group in Southeastern Europe, is organizing the 8th Annual Credit Risk Management Conference in Romania.

The event will provide diverse and engaging content on the most critical subjects of Credit Risk Management as well as the power of data in managing risk and we will create this opportunity for all professionals in the field to meet and discuss actual current issues that fall under their direct supervision, because business environment seems to become more hostile.

The risk analysis of the Romanian companies shows a reversal trend in 2016 by decreasing (surprisingly) the number of companies with low risk, after four consecutive years in which the number had risen. In 2016, one of five very good companies goes down in the area of medium and high risk.

Are all these things a first signal for starting a downward path for Romanian economy? It’s a certainty that the most risky companies (the bad payers, meaning that 20 to 50 percent of them are likely to be closed in the next 12 months) have not registered any improvement within the last year.

Keynote speakers from Romania and abroad will provide useful information, provoking discussion and reflection on Credit Risk issues. This exchange of ideas and the dialogue developed during the conference in regards to concrete practices for the reduction of Credit Risk, is the starting point for future action plans.

This year’s International Keynote Speakers come from Standard & Poor’s, Dun & Bradstreet and Euler Hermes.

The event will take place on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel.

You can see here the agenda of the conference. Learn how you can register to the event.
