The international reserves of Romania reached EUR 38.84 billion at the end of June, compared with EUR 35.48 billion in May, according to the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
The outflows of funds were higher due to the changes in the minimum reserves in the foreign currency of banks, interests payments and interests in the public debt account denominated in foreign currency.
The gold reserves remained fixed at 103.7 tonnes, with a value of EUR 3.63 billion, based on international prices.
On June 30, the international reserves of Romania (foreign currency + gold) stood at EUR 38.842 billion, compared with EUR 39.25 billion on May 31.
The payments due in July in the public debt account in foreign currency, direct or guaranteed by the Public Finance Ministry, amounted to EUR 120 million.
