Iohannis holds Brexit talks with political parties next week

The president Klaus Iohannis invited on Monday starting with 17:00 at Cotroceni Palace, the prime-minister Dacian Ciolos, the governor of BNR, Mugur Isarescu, and the heads of the Parliamentarian parties for the second round of consultancies regarding the outlook of the referendum result from the UK.

“As I announced since the end of the last week, the president of Romania wants to inform the participants about the meeting regarding the European Council, which took place in Brussels between June 28-29,” said a release of the presidential administration.

During consultancies, Iohannis will propose the setting up of a new work group to evaluate the impact of the UK decision on our country, to identify the measures required in this context, as the opportunities that can appear for Romania in the created situation, says the release.

Last week the president held talks with political leaders and with PM Ciolos and BNR governor Isarescu.
