IT sector, retail, sales offer most vacancies in 2018

According to data provided by online recruiting platform Bestjobs.eu, at beginning 2018, vacancies across sectors have increased compared to last year from 7,650 to 11,400 at a national level. Most jobs available at beginning 2018 are for experienced candidates in IT, sales and retail, as well as in the financial and transports sector, the survey by Bestjobs.eu shows. 

Most vacancies are found in Bucharest, namely 6,067 positions, followed by Timisoara – 2,060, Cluj Napoca – 2,008, Brasov – 1,476, Iasi – 1,436 and Sibiu – 910. Next come Arad – 835, Constanţa – 808, Oradea – 775, Ploiesti – 711 and Targu Mures 758. The companies offer relocation packages.

In the IT sector, currently there are round 2,516 job postings for programmers and developers and 1,947 for IT managers. In the medical field, most offers are for nurses, namely 150, doctors, 108 posts, and pharmacists, 103.

The financial sector offers positions for accountants, namely 458 positions and economists, 259 vacancies. In constructions, most job postings advertised are for designing engineers, 330, and architects, 83. There are 484 offers for drivers.

The horeca sector has 218 vacancies for chefs and 136 for bartenders.

According to the data provided by Bestjobs.eu, in the legal field there are 41 job postings for legal advisors and 26 for lawyers. In the sales and retail sectors, there are 652 job postings for retail workers and 451 for sales assistants. In the administrative sector, most of the offers are for assistant managers – 481.

The website has numerous job offers for positions abroad, namely 1,000. Most of them are in Poland, 232, Hungary, 207, and France, 190, and Germany, 175.
