JLL intermediated transactions with industrial and logistics spaces of 100,000 sqm overall in the first quarter, for companies such as Profi, NOD, Tibbett Logistics, KLG and Kuehne + Nagel.

The most important intermediations as leasable surface was the rental of 30,000 sqm by Profi in Roman and by NOD of 30,000 sqm in Bucharest. As a result, the Belgian developer WDP is building a new warehouse of 30,000 sqm at Roman for Profi and CTP is developing 30,000 sqm near Bucharest in CTPark Bucharest West for Network One Distribution (NOD).

„The industrial market continues to be extremely dynamic from the point of view of the new delivered projects, but also from demand point of view. The retail companies expansion and the consume growth are an important engine of the industrial and logistics market. We are grateful for continuing also this year the partnership with Profi, for which we previously transacted a logistic platform of 30,000 sqm in Cluj.

Logistics operators develop the operations from the local market, Tibbett Logistics, KLG, Kuehne+Nagel, renting overall spaces close to 25,000 sqm in the first three months,” said Viorel Opait, business development director JLL Romania, involved in these transactions.
Tibbett Logistics expanded its presence in Romania with a new warehouse of 7,200 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West, project in which KLG rented 9,700 sqm. Also, the logistics company Kuehne+Nagel is expanding in Timisoara, where WDP will build a warehouse of 6,000 sqm.
