Holcim Romania has revealed on Wednesday that Veronica Dobre is the new communications manager, replacing Ioana Borangic.

“I am honoured to take over the leadership of the communications department in a time when the company is going through one of the most interesting periods in its history in Romania, after the fusion with LafargeHolcim on an international level,” said Veronica Dobre.

“Holcim was and will be one of the most active companies in Romania, public communication included, and I am starting on this road with the promise that I will wisely use all the experience I have obtained. We want to actively contribute to the construction of Romania’s future and the communication projects, whether we speak about business or the CSR ones, are an integral part of our plan in this regard,” she added.

Veronica Dobre has a Public Relations Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK and has graduated from the School of Political Studies and the School of Communications and Public Relations at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest. She began her career in communications in a PR agency and has then worked in the pharmaceutical domain for 10 years.

Holcim Romania is member of the LafargeHolcim group, created after the fusion between Lafarge and Holcim in 2015. The company has approximately 800 employees and has over 180 years of experience in supplying concrete and cement.
