Key move. Radu Dumitru Stanescu appointed commercial director of DPD Romania

DPD, one of the biggest express delivery and express goods companies on the local market, has appointed a new commercial director of DPD Romania, Radu Dumitru Stanescu, with an experience of over 20 years in management and consultancy, accumulated in local organizations and multinationals in Eastern, Central and South Europe.

After a collaboration of 10 years with Speedy Bulgaria, where he has been the personal counselor of the shareholder with issues related to the organization development, Stanescu came back in Romania in DPD, a company acquired by Speedy in 2014, as consultant of the commercial department.

At the beginning of this year, Stanescu coordinated the planning process of DPD Romania strategy for 2018-2020, clarifying the organization position on the express delivery and express goods market, the strategic directions, the corporate objectives and the implementation of the strategy through the generation of strategic projects.

„I joined DPD Romania team, accepting the challenge to lead the commercial department, after an experience of 10 years in consultancy for Speedy Bulgaria. My role is to help the organization reach the desired performance by defining and establishing development strategies, but also through the optimization of the necessary mechanisms for a durable evolution. Another objective that I aim is to apply a succession plan that attracts and motivate talents in the organization,” says Stanescu.

Stanescu consolidated his experience both as employee in multinationals, as well as management consultant. He offered consultancy for the accomplishment and implementation of business strategies at organization level, but also at the level of the internal departments.
