IT company Luxoft Romania registered a turnover of RON 222.3 million in 2015, which is a growth of 56 percent compared with the previous year.
Over 40 percent of the companies’ revenues were generated by the telecom projects, a business segment traditionally developed by Luxoft Romania. The rest of the revenues come from the clients’ collaboration from financial and automotive domains, where Luxoft has a wide experience.
“The Luxoft Romania projects registered a sustained development also in 2015, which means a consolidation of our position on the local IT services market. We will continue to support the present projects and to deliver quality to customers, in parallel with the attraction of new projects. We have clear plans for the current year in energy, utilities and aviation fields and I’m convinced that the things will evolve in a positive manner, “ said Bogdan Pelinescu, managing director Luxoft Romania.
In 2015, almost 94 percent from the business was generated by the European market and the rest by US. In Romania, Luxoft serves clients from cars and financial industries, while the telecom clients come from US.
Last year, Luxoft increased the number of employees with 40 percent compared with 2014, after it hired 500 IT specialists. Currently, the company has 1,700 employees.
