Managers forecast a stability in Romanian industry and services and a moderate growth in the number of employees in services, as well as an increase in prices in constructions and retail until March, according to the trends in the economic activity evolution during January-March, according to the National Institute of statistics (INS).
During the inquiring from January, the managers from manufacturing industry forecast for the next three months the relative stability of the production volume (balance +4 percent). For the tobacco products manufacturing it is estimated a decreasing tendency (balance -33 percent).
For the prices of the industrial products, a moderate growth is forecasted for the next three months (balance +14 percent).
Regarding the number of employees, a relative stability is estimated, the balance being 0 percent per total manufacturing.
According to January estimations, there will be a decrease in the production volume of the construction activity for the next three months (balance -18 percent).
Managers also forecast a moderate decrease in the number of employees (balance -14 percent).
A growth is forecasted also in the prices of construction works (balance +19 percent).
In the retail trade sector, managers estimate a moderate decreasing tendency in the economic activity for the next three months (balance -7 percent).
The volume of orders placed by the trade units to the suppliers of goods will register a moderate decrease(balance -8 percent).
Employers forecast a relative stability in the number of employees (balance +3 percent) for the next three months.
For the next period, managers of trade companies estimate a growth of the retail prices (balance +22 percent).
