Marius Avram, CEO of Vector, the company that owns Autograf, the office supplies from Romania, told BR that this year the company has invested in the expansion of the office and warehouse space by about 30 percent and in the renewal of the car fleet by 25 percent.

The firm has also put more money to upgrade the online portal for distributors’ orders, to develop the online dedicated applications for the end-users, in training for efficiency and increased productivity and sales for employees and in launching new product catalogs.

He adds that the the office supplies market in Romania is changing in terms of customer demands and technological progress. Clients are evaluating the office suppliers based on the quality of their products and services.

“The business buyers (B2B) are interested in omni-channel service in order to have the same level of user friendly experience on online acquisition as the typical consumer (B2C),” said Avram.

For this year Vector plans to hire new employees, as it expanded its activity by opening the fifth store from Sun Plaza.

Vector is also interested in e-commerce and is currently monitoring both stationery and office market trends, behaviour, and procurement procedures of its customers.
