MediHelp Romania registers sales growth by 30 pct in 2017

According to MediHelp International, the healthcare insurances market registered a significant growth also in 2017 and Romania posted a sales growth year-on-year by 30 percent in 2017.

The data of MediHelp International shows that the individual policies represent 60 percent of the overall sales in what concerns the differences in demand from individuals and companies.

„In 2017 we succeeded to increase the awareness level and the interest in the insurance plans with international coverage and to implement a very important project for us related to the diagnose in time for cancer- NESA card. For the next year we aim to continue this approach and we want to increase the retention level for clients, which now is 85 percent,” said Zahal Levy, president MediHelp International.

In 2017, the companies in IT, pharma, financial consultancy or oil&gas requested international medical insurance plans for employees. So that the sales percent for companies was 40 percent of the overall.

Among the most demanded products are the healthcare international insurance plans specific to MediHelp, both in Romania and in foreign countries, as well as the oncology card NESA.

The medical international insurance plans MediHelp offers access to a network of over 425,000 clinics worldwide.
