Metrorex signs RCA contract with Asirom Vienna Insurance Group for travelers worth RON 98,305

Metrorex signs general civil responsibility insurance (RCA) contract with Asirom Vienna Insurance Group for travelers worth RON 98,305, without VAT. The insurance covers the damages produced to travelers in case of accidents/ railway incidents produced during travelers transport activity on subway lines.

The length of the contract is one year since the issue and receiving of the insurance policy.

According to a press release of the company, based on the contract, there will be signed an insurance policy formed of civil responsibility of legal persons against third person, according to the insurance conditions, the maximum limit of EUR 1 million/event or during the entire insured period, the insurance of responsibility of the railway transport operator against third party, according to the insured conditions- EUR 1 million/event, the optional insurance of accidents of passengers/travelers, within the maximum limit of EUR 1 million/event or during the entire insured period.

Metrorex reminds that in November 2016 it published the announcement for the start of acquisition process for insurance services of general civil responsibility, for damages against travelers in accidents/incidents case produced during the transport activity on subway stations.

As a result of the announcement, it got offers from the following insurance companies: Asigurarea Romaneasca — Asirom Vienna Insurance Group, through Globasig Broker de Asigurare, Generali Romania Asigurare Reasigurare, Omniasig Vienna Insurance Group and Gothaer Asigurari Reasigurari.

The winner was Asigurarea Romaneasca — Asirom Vienna Insurance Group based on the smallest price and a technical proposition according to the Metrorex requests.
