NTT Data Romania, the software services and solutions provider, leased 4,000 sqm in Unirii View office project, the 18floors tower that is being under development in downtown Bucharest, only five minutes away from Unirii Square. The transaction was brokered by the real estate consultancy Griffes.

Unirii View, a project developed by the Belgian investor Yves Weerts after an investment of approximately EUR 33 million, will have a total gross leasable area of 18,000 square meters, the completion of the project being estimated for summer 2018.

”We are already reaching a level of almost 25 percent of the surface preleased, with over one year before delivery. This is showing a solid interest in Unirii View but also companies’ target to perform their activities in a modern building, “ said Weerts.

”The choice made by NTT Data confirms once again a trend that we anticipate for 2018 – 2020: strong employers from financial and IT&C / professional services have to be in the city centre”, said Andreea Paun, managing partner of Griffes.

Daniel Metz, CEO of NTT Data Romania, company that is part of the Japanese group NTT Data, says the company aims to reach a turnover of EUR 55 million and to hire 150 people, taking its total headcount to 1,600.

The first phase of the developing process of Unirii View will be completed this week with the finishing of the underground works. The general contractor appointed for the construction works is Bog’Art.
