OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group’s Oversight Council decided to extend the terms of the company’s board members for a period of four years.

Currently, the OMNIASIG board is made up of five members, including a President and a Vice-President, and each member coordinates a specific area of the company’s activities: Mihai Tecau (CEO), Marek Golebiewski (CFO), Bogdan Tudor (Chief Underwriting Officer), Costi Stratnic (Chief Sales Officer) and Madalin Rosu (Chief Claims Officer).

The new terms will begin in July 2018, having already been approved by the Financial Oversight Authority.

OMNIASIG has a portfolio of over 100 products and an extended territorial network.

Mihai Tecau, CEO of OMNIASIG, said about the decision that “it is proof of trust, which confirms the results of the entire team and ensures the continuity of the company’s development strategy. We wanted to achieve a cautious and sustainable growth, where the priority is the trustful relationship we have with our clients and partners. In our new term we will carry out OMNIASIG’s mission of permanently offering high quality products and truly contributing to the development of the Romanian insurance market”.
